Me and linocut printmaking

Five years ago I discovered linocut printmaking and, after having painted all my life, had finally found the medium which perfectly suited me.
Surrounded by the beauty of North West Wales, I gather my inspiration from everywhere. Everything I look at I imagine in layers of colour, aiming to create images full of life and depth.
Linocut printmaking is a long and technical process and, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! Here is a short film (approx, 20 minutes long) of the process involved for a multi-block print from beginning to end.
Gallery
This gallery contains a selection of my original linocut prints – please click on each image for further information.
Most of the artwork is available to buy – if you are interested please get in touch for availability and prices.

Events
The January 2025 Portland Fine Print Fair, Oregon, USA, was as successful as the previous year and the beautiful Azuma Gallery in Seattle will be selling my work throughout the year as well which is very exciting!
Sold one of my new Still Water limited edition prints at the Liverpool Print Fair which took place in April 2025 at the wonderful Bluecoat venue, and will be at the May Cheshire Print Fair in the magnificent Chester Cathedral.
As ever, I am applying for more Print Fairs and will update this page with details.
See you there!
